Help for Iryna Makarchuk and Ukrainian women.

Dear Friends,

My Ukrainian friend Iryna Makarchuk is currently sheltering with other women in Poland. I am helping her and her family and friends who are suddenly and forcibly uprooted and SEPARATED from their dear husbands, brothers, partners, and sons.

Iryna was my roommate in NY for years, and she is my best friend and SOUL SISTER. She held me through essential parts of my life. She is the nicest person in the world I have ever met.

It’s my birthday today. Instead of gifts or offerings, I ask that you help me carry a part of Iryna and the other displaced women, even for an hour, a day, or whatever our support and supplies will provide at any given unpredictable minute.

I ask that you help show her and her fellow sisters, mothers, daughters of Ukraine that we embrace and support them from a distance, wherever you are!
