Hi my name is Rhiannon I was recently hospitilised last year with chest issues initially kept in to be put on nebulisar & steroids to help with my breathing it took me over a week to recover while i was in. Initially i tried to get up to & use the toilet near my bed at the hospital as i got up i had to hold onto the sink as my legs wouldn't move to allow me to walk so i was advised to go back into bed incase i fell. So i had MRI scans & multiple other tests to see what was going on as also at my stay at hospital i was suffering from sezuires. MRI came back all clear time weeks days months passed & no one still wasn't aware what was wrong i had to have physio to help me move my legs off the bed & also help re learn to take steps & walk again. Hospital contacted a neurologist as weeks & months was going by as when i was trying to walk with physio the pain was exruciating he then came & visited me while i was at the hospital & told me he thinks it's FND which stands for functional neurological disorder initially caused by trauma. So i cannot leave house as i don't have an electric wheelchair - I'm doing this to see if anyone can help - Any help be much apreciated.
