Help for Ingrid and Ian

Dear Friends and Facebook Community,

We are trying to bring some Christmas Cheer to our dear friend, Ingrid, who is going through an incredibly challenging time. Last Thursday night, her son, Ian, noticed that something wasn’t right with his mom and she needed someone to take her to an ER. After a concerning CT scan, she was admitted to Baylor Scott and White Plano for MRI and further testing. Doctors believe she had several mini strokes and possible seizures which has temporarily limited the use of her left side. To recover, she will be transferred from the hospital to a rehab facility this week.

As a single mother to a 14-year-old son and no family in Texas, she is facing financial hardship while trying to recover. Since she will be unable to work and to help ease some of her burdens, we are asking for donations so we can pay her mortgage, car payments, utility bills and help out with groceries, while she can't. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a financial contribution or gift cards for groceries, anything will make a huge difference in their lives during this difficult time.
