Our friend and colleague Julie has been featured on a "100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics" list and worked on distinguished projects such as Q, the world's first gender neutral voice assistant, which won a Glass Lion at Cannes. You can read more about her work on her website.
However, high living costs, university debt, and an unfortunate financial setback two years ago made it incredibly difficult to maintain savings. Julie was recently laid off from her full-time job at Accenture in San Francisco. We are organizing this fund to help her pay for moving to a less expensive rental and for living expenses until she is able to receive steady income again.
