Help For Hugo

My friend Jacqui has a great bull terrier named Hugo. Hugo is a big bully with a big heart and a strong will to survive. Not long ago, he was bitten 3 times by a deadly water moccasin snake. He spent many days in the
canine intensive care unit as the vets worked to keep him alive. Hugo developed an allergic reaction to the anti venom which resulted in many complications including hemolytic anemia and an autoimmune reaction which had his immune system attacking itself. He required blood transfusions and multiple doses of anti venom to keep him from death. Hugo survived but he's not out of the woods yet. The vets had to put him on very expensive immunosupressive drugs to keep his autoimmune disorder in check. Obviously, this has 
resulted in astronomical vet bills for this family despite the fact that he had insurance. The insurance didn't even put a dent in Hugo's bills. As a bull terrier owner and lover, I know we do all we can to keep our beloved bullies alive, sometimes against great odds. Please chip in to help Jacqui and her family continue to keep Hugo alive.
