Help For Honey The beautiful yellow lab

Hi, my name is Mel and I'm doing this fundraisers on the behalf of the beautiful Honey.

This darling was signed over to me unwanted as she had not good enough genes for breeding. No other reason and

Her previous owner would not pay for her veterinary bills onve this was found out and so as I rescue animals I took her on.

No animal should be put to sleep just because of money if something can be fixed.

She has been diagnosed with Bilateral grade 3 medial patellar luxation,

Significant bilateral distal femoral varus, that will require distal femoral osteotomy to straighten the femur.

In addition they may need to perform a sulcoplasty to deepen the groove and a tibial tuberosity transposition to lateralise the attachment of the patella on the tibia to straighten the quadriceps mechanism.

Basically a chunk of bone out of her legs then wires placed to straighten them then her dislocating knees mended after this. She's in pain and needs this done. This is for the 2 legs and I already have £2k covered so only need 5. We have been given an estimate of £7 thousand all in.

Unfortunately as I rescue animals I cannot get insurance for them so solely depend on the donations of people. I can rescue and do the work but I need your help. Honey needs your help.
