Hi there, my name is Laura. I own a mobile dog grooming business called Smoochie Poochie. I have always wanted to help the homeless and especially over Christmas time so I thought what better way could I do it other than doing what I do best and give the homeless dogs free grooms as well as fundraising for their owners too! I have volunteered in dog sanctuary’s all over the world & now want to be able to add my own personal effect to those over Christmas. We are all so lucky to have a roof over our heads, hot meals, showers and even just a warm coat .. many homeless do not and will not have these luxuries which is why I am to raise enough to at least be able to contribute to this. I aim to use the money raised to supply insulated blankets for over the winter season - scarves, gloves etc. I will also buy warm jumpers for the dogs, toys, blankets, doggy treat bags and a nice teddy for Christmas. Hot meals will also be provided on the day & any money over our budget will be donated to homeless shelters and dog shelters such as Battersea & Harefield dogs trust.
