Help for Holly, Josh, Aiden, and Noé - Child Loss
Donation protected
Losing a loved one unexpectedly is a loss that no one can prepare for. Losing a child is something that no parent should ever have to go through. It is with immense heartbreak that I am writing this today to raise money and support for one of my dearest friends, Holly Stacey, her partner RJ, and her children, as they grieve the loss of sweet Donovan “Nonnie” Rosas.
Tragically, Donovan was found unresponsive following a seizure. His family performed CPR until the paramedics arrived and he was airlifted to Seattle Children’s Hospital. After fighting for three days, the damage done to his little body was just too much. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning with his family by his side blanketed in love and light.
For those that know this family, you know that their entire world revolved around Donovan. Be it park days, homeschool field trips, or a day at the lake, there was never a dull moment with him around. The love and joy that he brought to everyone will never, could never, be forgotten. His smile could light up a room and his laugh contagious. He had a penchant for loud noises, kitchen utensils, carwashes, and McDonald's hamburgers. The world will be a much quieter place without Nonnie in it.
I am humbly asking for donations to help Holly over the next few months so she can stay home and grieve the loss of her son and continue to provide support to her other children, Josh, Aiden, and Noé. Financially, they need help with funeral and memorial costs, household expenses, bills, groceries, travel and medical costs, and bereavement therapy and counseling. No words can express the trauma, pain and heartbreak that this family is going through. They are very thankful for everyone sending their love during this heavy time.
Please, if you are able and have a bit extra, this family is in need and is more than deserving of your generosity.
