Help for Holly and Dru Mims

Holly Mims and I are first cousins, and we have always enjoyed a close relationship with each other. Holly and Dru have had many trials during their marriage, but have remained faithful and true in their love for each other and as a family. Their daughter Claire underwent chemotherapy treatments as a toddler for Langerhans cell Histiocytosis. In 2015, they lost their beloved son, Drayton.

Unfortunately, the Mims family has a new battle to win. Dru has been diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma in his bladder. Please pray for Holly and Dru and donate if you are moved to do so. Dru has undergone two surgeries and 12 weeks of treatment. More treatment will continue in Columbia. We hope that Dru will be accepted into one of the best treatment centers, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

If you are one of the many students or families that has been coached or taught by Holly or Dru, please pray for Holly, Dru, their children and grandchildren. Financially, please give what you are able to. Every little bit will help as Dru is too sick to work at this time. Money will also be needed for travel expenses when other treatments begin.
