Hi Everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my sweet Hilde Bean. Recently, she lost mobility in her legs and was diagnosed with a serious spinal disease called IVDD. The only option to save her life and give her any chance to walk again, possibly even with a wheelchair, was an urgent surgery - a Hemilaminectomy and a Foramenotomoy.

The surgery was successful, but as you can imagine, the costs are overwhelming. Between the procedure, hospitalization, medications, and recovery care Hilde will need, the expenses have added up to well over $20,000 out of pocket.

As you all know, Hilde is more than just a pet, she is my family. She has brought so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into my life (with a bit of feral spiciness), and I want to do everything possible to give her the healthy, happy future she deserves. I have also done everything I can to make sure the surgery is paid for - I have sold bags and stocks and depleted savings to cover as much as I can, but the expenses are more than I can manage on my own.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards Hilde's medical bills at the University of Pennsylvania - the closest vet with a neurological surgeon.
