Hendrix was born on February 14, 2017. Hendrix was born with a small lower jaw and is also missing a piece of his jaw bone. This causes serious breathing difficulties and the inability to feed from breast or bottle. He is therefore on a high flow breathing machine and is fed via an NG tube. Thankfully a surgery has been organized for him in Winnipeg as there is a great pediatric craniofacial surgeon there. This surgery will hopefully give Hendrix the ability to breathe without the aid of a machine and learn to feed on his own. We are raising money to help Hendrix and his parents for transportation to and from Winnipeg and all medical supplies that are not covered. As well as hotels, meals and loss of income for his parents during the surgery and his recovery period in Winnipeg.
