Help for Healthcare Heroes

A few months ago, some local nurse friends mentioned since they are mandated to wear masks and PPE throughout their 12+hour shifts that the elastics were wearing down their ears, causing pressure, pain, blisters, rawness, etc. They asked if my family and I might be able to help make some ear-savers to alleviate that pressure. We sourced out materials and made a few for them. They came back saying it was so helpful, so we decided to keep going.
To date we've organically received donations from friends/family to make over 2,000 earsavers as well as source over 200 units of disinfectant/sanitizer, 2,500 medical grade gloves, 550 face masks and are awaiting kn95 masks. (The cost to make one ear-saver is about $1.)
With your help and donations, we hope to continue this mission as long as our healthcare workers need us. This initiative has proven that we really are a village and we thank everyone who has and will donate, as well as assisted in all efforts--THANK YOU!
