Last month in February , my family and I found out my dad, Harry, has stage 4 stomach cancer. This sudden change took all his family by surprised. It took only a little under a week to find out that no treatment (chemo or radiation) would work and, if treatment was given, could quicken my dad's death. The doctors suggested hospice care and got it for us within a few days after.

      Right now, my dad is in hospice care at our house, with my mom and I doing our best to take care of him, as well as support from family and friends. My dad is a very hard working man, and he is the main source of income for our house, and with this cancer, he has been bedridden for more than a month...

    Due to a delay with my dad's disability insurance from work, we aren't sure how long it will be until they are able to send money, we are in need of funds to help pay for our bills (mortgage, PG&E,  food, ect) for the next 3 months so we can put more time into helping my dad and making sure he is comfortable in this terrible situation.
