Hey everyone, I'm setting this go fund me for my friend Heather Blanford.

As a lot of people know her and how sweet she is and how involved she is in the community . She's always there when help is needed.

Last year she brought my husband to the hospital and ran in to a local doctor in the hospital ,who happened to live in Myakka City . I was out of town and she , with all the other doctors are the reason my husband is alive today after he got diagnosed with cancer that night.

Heather's horse Harley suffered a devastating accident when she impaled herself on a metal fence post stake. She is now hospitalized at Brandon Equine, where she is being treated for her injuries and a serious complication known as subcutaneous emphysema.

Subcutaneous emphysema happens when air becomes trapped under the skin and spreads throughout the body. In severe cases, it can lead to respiratory distress, infection, or organ complications, making it a life-threatening condition that requires urgent and ongoing veterinary care.

Her treatment so far has already exceeded $5,000, and the costs continue to rise daily with hospitalization, medications, wound management, and monitoring.

I am asking for help to cover these critical medical expenses so she can continue receiving the care she needs to recover. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward her veterinary bills.
