My brother in law, Miguel has been lucky enough to serve by Harley’s side and guide her through her K9 duties and love her like one of his own daughters. Mallory and Miguel, and their 5 daughters have been thoroughly enjoying her recent well deserved retirement when this morning they woke up to a different dog, crippled with pain and facing a life threatening surgery tomorrow morning (3/24).

During her career, Harley was involved in numerous apprehensions and earned multiple awards in competitions for narcotic detection and apprehension. She gave everything she had in the line of duty without hesitation. Now, in her retirement, she needs our help.

Harley is currently facing a medical emergency that requires urgent surgery. The cost is estimated to be between $2,500 and $5,000—an expense that has come unexpectedly and is difficult to manage alone.

This is more than just a dog—Harley is a hero. She spent her life keeping others safe, and now I’m hoping it’s our turn to be there for her.
