Help for Hannah's family

Hannah has been throwing us for a spin these days. She was starting to wake up, squeezing the doctors hand, wiggling her nose, she even opened her eyes for a quick moment! But, two steps forward and one step back. Hannah had what the doctor called something like a flat tire in her lung and needed another surgery. It seemed to go well and we are so thankful they caught this when they did. We are going on day.. 30?
All of the love and support received has been incredible. Hannah still needs every single prayer you have.
Update from tina about Hannahs surgery:
Surgery update: Hannahs doctor was available earlier so the procedure is done and she came through well. I really like this doctor. He invited me in at the very end to explain what he did and talk to me. Her lower left lung has been inflated with oxygen, “plugs” are in place where the air is leaking and then it’s been clamped off so that it can heal. He assured me that they are sparing no expense, throwing everything but the kitchen sink at her to fix this and this is only the first of things that can be done. He also said he would be around often to check on her.
Now we wait for the healing… because of this new development she will be heavily sedated for at least 48 hours and will have to go back in more ecmo support. I miss her eyes already

The care costs for Hannah are exceeding what we originally thought. Hannah is still in GR with no sign of coming home anytime soon due to complications and special treatment needed. We are so grateful for any any all help from every single person who has donated, said a pray, sent a card or just kept her in their thoughts. Hannah still has a long road ahead so keep the positive energy coming!
*UPDATE 12/20
Saturday night was extremely hard on Hannah which spiraled her into crisis. The team at Beacon placed a breathing tube and put her in something like a medically induced coma in hopes of healing.
Sunday evening the team felt it was in Hannahs best medical interest to fly her to Helen Devos Childrens hospital by helicopter. We are being proactive because she may need a treatment that is not available in South Bend.
** Logan and mom ( both in Beacon ) are doing well and hopefully will be discharged in the next 48 hours.
My (not so baby) cousin is in the hospital fighting Covid Pneumonia. Currently, Hannah is on oxygen and can not fight this alone. Any well wishes are greatly appreciated. Hannah's mom is the only one allowed at the hospital, meaning she is missing work. With a daughter in the hospital, bills are the last thing that should be on a mother's mind.. Hannah has insurance but that only goes so far when hospital co pays, mortgage payments and every day bills are still due- Anything helps! Please continue to keep Hannah in your thoughts.
