Help for Halyna - Ukraine to Poland Refugee Fund

We are setting up this fundraiser to help our grandmother, Halyna, escape from the current invasion in Ukraine to neighboring Poland, where she can seek refuge. She is 83 and alone in Kyiv and needs our help getting to Poland, where she will be safe and complete her immigration process. She was days away from her immigration interview to the US when the invasion began, and now her visa is being moved to Warsaw for processing.

We are hoping to raise enough to keep her in Poland until it is safe to return to Kyiv or complete her immigration processing and move to the US to be with our family. Unfortunately, we do not know how long that will take but are hopeful that it will be expedient.

What the fundraiser will help us to do:

Assist in paying for transport out of Ukraine (if needed)

Assist in finding her housing, food, and transportation in Poland

Flights to and from Poland for the family to assist with resettlement

Any remaining funds will be donated directly to Project Dynamo (projectdynamo.org) to assist other refugees' evacuation efforts.
