Hadija Mbuja is a 47 year old Kenyan woman living in a small
village, Samburu, located in the eastern desert of Kenya with her
family and her six children. She was diagnosed with advanced
cervical cancer after finally being able to see a doctor. There is no public assistance for medical care in Kenya. The cost of treatment for her condition is $8,000.00, not including the rental of an
apartment and food in Nairobi while she’s getting treatment,
which is 5 hours away by bus. Hadija is the sister of our good
friend Mwero, who now lives here in the states.
Hadija makes a living selling vegetables from her garden plot at
market, which barely feeds her family. As most do, she lives in a
mud hut with her children. She needs our help!! If you can please
consider a donation to save the life of this lovely woman, it would be greatly appreciated and sent directly to Hadija for treatment.
This is a really urgent situation for my friends sister. Please give
what you can. Thank you! Asante sana(in Swahili)! Her family will be so grateful!
