Help for Hackberry - Hurricane Relief

Donation protected

We are a part of a Shreveport-based group of volunteers that has begun a “Help for Hackberry” campaign to provide needed supplies and assistance for hurricane victims in the small South Louisiana town devastated by Hurricane Laura.

There are so many people who have lost everything. It’s so sad.  About half the town is gone and no property was spared from damage.

We are working with Hackberry officials to help the residents with many needs right now, asap.

Volunteers Jeff Bavar and Zack Foshee have already delivered two large loads of needed supplies to the Hackberry Community Center at 986 Main Street by 9/1 and 9/2.  Now we are turning  cash donations into generators and air conditioners along with commercial grade extension cords, oil and gasoline. Everyone working together will  help this amazing and  close-knit community get back onto its feet.

Thank you everyone!
