One horrific night forever changed the life of my son Gustave and his entire family, when we were viscously attacked by an unknown gang, while having a family barbeque. Sadly, during the attack, one of the gang members was hurt and died a month later due to an infection, now My Son is being held in jail for his death. Under these unfortunate circumstance we are fighting to obtain a lawyer to prove his innocence and asking for your help. Gustave is a very descent young man. Raised to be respectful, having proper manners and loved by many. He didn’t hang out on corners, and has never been involved in any gang activity. We just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He worked everyday from the age of 16 to provide for his son. Earning certifications along the way to increase his chances of maintaining stable employment and to better himself. He is a very comical person and a joy to have around. A Man after God’s own heart. As a Mother I am pleading, praying, and asking that you would find it in your heart to help us retain an attorney who will fight for his freedom. He doesn’t deserve to spend half his life in jail based on these circumstances. He shouldn’t be labeled as another statistic or considered a criminal based off where we can afford to live or his color. Not all people living in the ghetto are criminals.
