Some of you may know Israel Guerrero Torres as "Guero." You may have seen him running around Margaritas in Denver as your server. On June 13th, Israel suffered from a large bilateral cerebellar stroke. He was taken to Atrium Health in Lincolnton, but then 3 days later he was airlifted to Charlotte. He had obstructive hydrocephalus and had to have a piece of his skull to remove pressure from his brain. He remained in ICU for 27 days. Currently, he is stable at his home but still undergoing therapy. Keep him in and his family (Hailey 14, Rigoberto 11, and Diego 8) in your thoughts.
