My grandfather, LITO YNCHAUSTI, who has survived 2 strokes in the past, has been confined in the hospital for pneumonia, fluid in his lungs, wound (bone) infection due to diabetes and may need foot surgery (amputation) in the near future.  We need help to pay for his medical bills.  The hospital expenses may reach $25,000 by the time of his discharge from the hospital, and additional healthcare costs is projected to be another $25,000.

 
I’m appealing for financial assistance to help him and my aunt, Cynthia “Chow” Ynchausti-Gurm, who has been shouldering all the expenses of caring for him and my bedridden grandma who has dementia, for the past 15 years. The huge amount needed for his hospital and medical expenses and care is beyond her means. Also, my aunt’s pay has been reduced due to the current pandemic situation.  I would like to help her by easing some of her financial burdens in caring for both my grandparents.
 

My grandpa was a college basketball athlete during his prime and worked as an airline employee. With my grandpa being an only child, he depends on our small family for financial and emotional support; and with his 2 other children struggling with their own health issues, only my aunt Cynthia is left to shoulder all my grandparents’ living and medical expenses.
