Hi, a way over due update for how things are progressing for Grandma Beryl. Firstly let me thank each and everyone of you for your donations, for your prayers, love and service. We would have been totally lost without you all and you helped the sun to shine in a dark place. Our lives changed over night and I couldnt see any way out. But you all stepped in. We were facing months of waiting before we could get anything inplace unless we paid upfront. I cant express what a Godsend your funding was, it relieved a lot of stress and provided for Grandmas personal and physical care until our package was in place. The original piece of equipment was not of any use to us as Grandma is so small, but we were able to provide items that have helped her to have a good quality of life, ease her pain and help keep some dignity intact. I have also been able to have support as a carer. Most of the equipment has been ordered and some still waiting to be fitted. We are still waiting on the wheelchair assessment which will be around £1,500, for one inside and one outside We can access free equipment but Grandmas condition means she needs something more specialised. There are other pieces of equipment and sundries that will go towards making life easier for Grandma and myself. I have been overwhelmed by the changes. I am going to be selling baked goods and start making some crafts to continue to raise funds, I will catch you up with the details when I have more idea. I am in your debt, literally and will be forever grateful for those have donated or helped in anyway and those who will help going forward.
