Our beloved friends Alanna, Shanelle and Pam’s 95-year-old grandmother and mother, otherwise known as Gram, recently suffered a heart attack and is now receiving end-of-life care in the ICU. Despite living in Canada under Pam’s care for seven years, Gram’s permanent residency and OHIP coverage are still tied up in a years-long visa process. This has left the family facing staggering medical bills (around $5000 per day) with only partial insurance coverage and no direct billing.

This is an unimaginable emotional and financial strain at an already heartbreaking time. We’re raising funds to help ease the burden so the family can focus on loving Gram and saying goodbye without the added stress of mounting costs.
