Hi my name is Kelly and I am raising money for my best friend and beloved furbaby Gizmo. Gizmo is 11 years old and has been with me since I was 16. He has seen my through my worst and best times and is my rock. A few weeks ago he was playing with one of his favorite stuffed hedgehogs and while running tore a ligament in his knee. Xrays show likely a full cranial cruciate ligament tear. Between consult, surgery, and follow up xrays, I was quoted around $4,500 high end (it is possible this will change after the orthopedic does his consult). I unfortunately cannot afford this as I barely get by even with 2 jobs and have medical debt myself. I will do anything to help my boy return to as normal as a life as possible. He has no other major health problems and has many years left in him. I wanted to get fundraising as soon as I had an idea of cost so I could get him in as soon as possible.
