Hi, My name is Rob Ottens and I am fundraising for my cousin, Gary Pargen.

On May 27th 2021, Gary was involved in a tragic accident when he was struck by a pick-up truck while he was pushing his broken-down vehicle to the side of the road. He was rushed to the emergency room and spent 2.5 days sedated in the ICU due to the horrific injuries he sustained. Thankfully, he pulled through but he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

Gary and his brother Johnny are the proud owners of an automotive repair shop in West Haven, CT.

Since they are a dynamic duo, Gary’s absence from the business is a significant hardship.

As we all know, Gary would be the first to help a friend in need. It is our turn to return the favor. The funds raised will be given to Gary and his wife, Evelynn, to help cover monthly expenses such as bills, groceries, gas etc. for their family while they see their way through this incredibly difficult time.
