Help for Funeral Services for Theresa Meadus

Thank you everyone for your generosity. We have reached our goal thanks to all of you. God Bless You.

I am starting this campaign for my Mother-in-law, Theresa Meadus, with a very heavy heart. She passed on March 31st of this year from Covid-19. She spent her last days on this Earth alone and scared with none of her family by her side to comfort her or hold her hand. Unfortunately this is the story for many people dying of this virus.

I did not know Theresa for very long, just a few short years, yet in that time I knew her to be one of the kindest, most loving and heartfelt people I have ever met.  Her laugh was infectious and seeing her smile, you couldn't help but smile yourself. She was always there for her children and her grandchildren,   As many of her family, friends and co-workers can attest she would do the same for anyone in her life. She was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off of her back if it would keep you warm even if it was the only one she had. The amount of people that have called and written after her passing is a testament to the person she was and the legacy she leaves behind.

Theresa lived a hard life and the last few years were probably some of the hardest. She had open-heart surgery at just 15 years old and was on medication since then. The medication caused her kidneys to fail. She was confined to a wheelchair for movement and spent 3 days a week undergoing Dialysis. This took its toll on Theresa's health, both mentally and physically. After her husband John's death she was never the same. She always said he was her soulmate and if you saw the way they looked at each other you knew it was the truth. Despite her pain of this great loss in her life she never let it get in the way of taking care of her family, even after her health issues confined her she took care of her girls. They were her life.

Ask any person that knew Theresa even for just a day they would say she was one of a kind. When my wife's friends would come over to hang out they wouldn't want to leave because Theresa made them feel at home. She was your best friend. No matter what time it was if you called or texted she was there.
To tell all the stories I have heard from just her immediate family could fill a book.

The virus took her from us in the worst way and we cannot grieve and remember her together as we should and as she deserves.

I know this is a terrible time to be asking for donations as so many people are out of work and suffering. But I am asking anyone that knew her in her beautiful life could help even a little, it would be a great blessing.

Thank you for your time and your help.

God bless you.
