On July 23rd, my brother in law collapsed and passed away. The hospital is saying that he doesn’t qualify for an autopsy and, in order for our family to have closure and understand what happened, we will have to pay for a private company to complete the autopsy.
Chris was a family man and always tried to puta smile on someone’s face. He was living with his fiancé and helping to raise her 4 children. They became his children. Chris was making plans to get married in the near future to his high school sweetheart, Tara. She is now broken-hearted and will need to provide for herself and 4 children on her own while she is grieving for the man of her dreams
Chris was also a music man. He could be found in a local karaoke bar (whether he knew the area or not) or playing the piano or guitar at home. He loved to sing and play, and even got his fiancé and children involved with playing and singing. They made videos of their music to share online with others, and drove around their neighbor during the lockdown to play karaoke for neighbors
Chris leaves behind his fiancé, Tara, who was there when he collapsed and did all she could to save him and their 4 children. I am hoping to raise money not only to pay for his autopsy, but also to help provide for his family while Tara figures out finances now that she has unexpectedly has to live on just her income.
I’m creating this in hopes of reaching people that were touched by Chris at some point in their lives. I’m hoping that we can give Chris the proper memorial that he would want.
