Help for Full Circle Community Farm after van accident

I'm Lauren, an employee and friend of Full Circle Community Farm in Seymour, Wisconsin. Full Circle Community Farm produces fresh, high-quality Certified Organic veggies and meat for the Northeast Wisconsin community. Their commitment to ecologically friendly growing practices and sharing knowledge with other farmers earned them recognition as Marbleseed's 2024 Organic Farmers of the Year.

Heather was out making deliveries as the snowstorm was ramping up the evening of Tuesday, April 2nd when the refrigerated van slipped off the road and flipped 1 1/2 times. Some kind people who saw it happen stopped to help her out of the van. THANKFULLY, SHE IS OK.

Unfortunately the van, which is crucial to business operations, is likely totaled or will require extensive repairs. Full Circle Community Farm is asking for assistance to purchase a new refrigerated van so that we can continue to make deliveries to our community. We're hesitant to ask for help, but this time of year is a really difficult time of year for farm finances, as we're making investments for the coming season while not much money is coming in. 

Ways to help:

1. Donate to and share our GoFundMe page! Any funds and support will help us reach our goal of purchasing a new van for the farm. A new van costs ~$100,000. We're hoping to also get grant assistance to help with this purchase.

2. Place an online order for delivery or pickup in the online shop. We're still committed to making deliveries with our personal vehicles as we go through the process of acquiring a new van. We have small and large pastured pork bundles, 100% grassfed beef, pastured eggs, and lots of farm fresh veggie goodness in our online shop available for on-farm pickup or delivery. 

3. Sign up for a SLO Farmers Co-op Veggie CSA or Meat Share . We and the other co-op farmer members in Northeast Wisconsin would love for you to join us as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of SLO!
