On Saturday, March 6th, our friend and teammate John Fritz was participating in a highly coveted gravel bike event. Excited to be out & about with other elite cyclists, John was hoping to place well in this event. Tragedy happened early in the race when John suffered a freak fall. He sustain injuries and has been in critical condition with severe internal bleeding and head trauma.
We are heartbroken by this sudden accident that has taken the spirit of John away from us. He is a mentor to the local cycling scene and has helped many new cyclist reach their own person best. John has always been there for his Michael David Cycling teammates as well as his competitors.
When John is released from the hospital, he will be spending months in rehab. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help his wife offset the cost of his rehabilitation which will be lengthy. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Please keep John and his wife Ida in your thoughts and prayers.
