Help for Flavia Huremovic

Update on Flavia,

Thanks to all who donated to Flavia. Her surgery was successful for the aneurysm. Unfortunately, just when Flavia was getting back to work, she was involved in a serious car accident. She was in intensive care for several weeks and had to have surgery to put pins into her shoulder and hip. She suffered a severe concussion and had a stroke also. She is currently at home, but her recovery is very slow. She is having speech issues, and one eye is not responsive. Flavia is in need of financial help to get through this very difficult period in her life. Any amount helps. She has a long road to recovery in front of her.

Flavia is a dear friend and business associate. She is one of the most genuine and hardworking people I know. Flavia owns a house and Airbnb cleaning business. If you have ever had Flavia clean for you, then you know there is nothing like the "Flavia Touch".

Recently, Flavia was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. She has not been able to work at full capacity for a while. She has surgery scheduled for April 15, to place a stent in the affected blood vessel in her brain. Luckily, this procedure can be done by inserting the stent through her femoral artery. The procedure has a 95% chance of success, and after, although she will likely need to take medication for the rest of her life, she will be able to live a long normal, life.

Flavia has medical insurance, but she needs help with living expenses now, and during the 2 week recovery period after the surgery. There will certainly be medical expenses that her insurance doesn't cover as well. All funds will go directly to Flavia to help with her living and medical expenses.
