Hi, very dear friends of mine Jerry and Misty have had a tremendous amount of trauma and tragedy this past week.

Their companion dog and best buddy of 4 years that they had since he was a puppy was hit by a car and killed last Wednesday. The woman who hit her dog was a single mom with an infant, and it was either hit the dog or a semi. She stayed with the dog until he died so he wasn't alone. The police came and brought the dog back to the family with the lights on but no sirens. Odin had never ever left the yard prior to this. The only thing that would have had him leave was if he was chasing off something he thought was a danger to the family. We don't know what that was, but it had to be something serious.

That same night, about an hour later, her husband was rushed to the hospital because they thought he was having a heart attack. The ER verified that he has a very bad case of AFib due to blood pooling in his heart. He will have to go through testing and most likely have to have a Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion or a Surgical Ablation. We will know more soon as he has additional testing this coming week.

I know these are expenses nobody prepares for, and I am asking for some help to offset the wages he will lose from not working as he is the sole support of the family and insurance was not an option at his job. So please, if you can find it in your heart to help my friends out in a really tough situation, I'd appreciate it. I don't want them to lose the house or anything else in their lives right now.
