Hello my name is Paul D. I have never done this kind of thing before but I am a bit desperate. We rescued my dog Herbie about 5 years ago. No one wanted him so thats why I wanted him. He is a very sweet Pittie. He would be a great therapy dog. Loves everyone

We have another dog and two cats. Rescues. But Herbie has a torn ACL. It will continue to deteriorate without surgery. It is $4779.10. I am retired and on a fixed income. What I have in a small savings would wipe me out. I just want to get him well. His rehab will be difficult for 8-10 weeks but I will be with him every day. I just want to say that I am an animal person. I volunteer at a feral cat sanctuary. I have had many pets over my years. Anything that you can afford would be greatly appreciated. We will put off the surgery as long as we can. Thank you
