Hello,
We are raising money for Eshan to help pay for medical assistance as he recovers from his accident.
For those who don't know:
Eshan was running an Ergo clinic and one of the participants, a very large man, slipped while on the truck. Eshan tried to break the man's fall, but in doing so, broke his leg very badly. He had emergency surgery and they placed metal rods in his leg. The doctor said it will be a long road to full recovery- probably 7-9 months.
The reason for this GoFundMe is to help hire a Home Health nurse to assist him with daily tasks such as cooking, wound care, driving him to physical therapy appointments every day, personal hygiene assistance, etc. The minimum cost for a home health nurse for a 3 hr shift (3 hrs is the lowest time block you can request) is $25 per hour. A full week of care would be about $525 a week, so $8000 would cover about 14-15 weeks of care (he will be in physical therapy for 2-3 months after the doctors clear him to begin).
If you are willing to donate, that would immensely help him and take off some of the financial burden he has come under due to this accident. He has not asked for this fundraiser or any financial assistance, we decided to start it and show our support for him. If you have any questions please email Landis.
