The Nehemiah International Ministry (NIM) was established as non-profit institution in Atlanta, Georgia on March 21, 2007. During its humble beginning, it was known as “Nehemiah Project.” By the sustaining grace of God, since its inception, its work was carried out by dedicated believers who tirelessly gave their time and intellect with no financial compensation in return. Currently, its unpaid board members consist of eight individuals who joyfully and diligently serve the Eritrean persecuted Christians and their families, among other activities devoted to the spread of the Gospel.
The express purpose of NIM’s establishment is to bring God an utmost glory by reaching out to concerned believers abroad so that in unison, we may reasonably alleviate the hardships of our Eritrean brothers and sisters who had been painfully in chains for Christ for prolonged number of years.
NIM’s undertakings of previous projects include:
1. Financial support to the families of the jailed in Eritrea.
2. Essential assistance to the needy families and widows including those who were under the church’s care.
3. Support and encourage pastors and other church workers who were actively involved in evangelism in Eritrea.
4. Provide the church in Eritrea with spiritual resources such as Bibles and Bible study materials to be able to have
adequate knowledge of the Holy Scriptures.
5. Train and educate the church and pastors to be well equipped for evangelical propagation.
6. Publish books in Tigrinya and English, for the purpose of biblical reference and promulgation of the plight of the
persecuted Christians in Eritrea respectively.
In the fear of God, NIM elevates financial integrity, accountability and transparency at the top of its agenda, in order to strive to be loyal in its monetary transactions at all times, “as Moses was faithful in all God’s house” (Numbers 12:7; Hebrews 3:2,5, accentuation added).
The main objective of this letter is to kindly ask all concerned individuals, churches or institutions to contribute whatever they can to replenish NIM’s financial resources, which is used to maintain the provision of basic needs for existing and newly persecuted saints. Imagine for a moment a heart-wrenching situation in which a breadwinner of a family is jailed, and a mother and her children are helplessly left behind in great desperation and extreme poverty. Being mindful of such dire circumstances, let’s feel their sufferings by putting ourselves in their shoes and extend our hands in this critically trying moment (Hebrew 13:3).
For this purpose, NIM has initiated a long-term GoFundMe campaign and your generous and continued support is highly appreciated and will save hundreds and thousands of lives until God changes the situation when the fullness of time is joyfully realized. Please use this platform for a regular monthly donation for this cause. If for any reason, GoFundMe does not work for you, you may have the option of utilizing PayPal by visiting our website at nim-er.org, or you may send a check to our base address, NIM P.O.Box 957613, Duluth, Georgia 30095. Please make checks payable to “Nehemiah International Ministry.”
NIM would like to take this golden opportunity to extend its heartfelt, sincere and profound appreciation to all its faithful contributors, past, current and future. It would have been impossible to finance NIM’s activities, if it were not for your recurring generous donations. Therefore, within the boundless parameters of God’s extension of His bountiful supply, the success of our future sacrosanct mission will depend on your continued support. Thank you so much!!!
NIM is so grateful to God for all its committed supporters, for it wholeheartedly believes that at the end of the day, when everything is said and done, the Lord Jesus Christ will get the magnificent glory for all eternity to come.
Please remember that your consistent generosity would not go unnoticed by the Almighty. To God alone be the eternal majesty! Amen.
