Erik was admitted to the intensive care unit on Thursday, February 7th. Through a series of unforeseeable and tragic events, Saturday evening February 16th, his heart stopped beating and Erik passed away at the age of 28. By his side was the love of his life and partner of 10 years, Rachel Magowan, her son, Conlan whom he raised as his own, and his loving parents and sister, Bob, Judy, and Rachel Veroff.
