Hello friends & family! this is a community mutual aid call. I’m fundraising for my dear best friend Ericha, whom many of you know & love. She is in a very difficult situation & we are humbly reaching out to you to extend any support you can.

On late Sunday morning, Ericha got into a terrible car accident up the windy roads on the 49 outside of the yuba river canyon. She missed the turn, & drove off the side of the road down a small cliff/hill. She immediately tried correcting, but was already too far down & hit a tree head on. It’s a miracle that she isn’t dead or more seriously injured. The air bags knocked the wind out of her & as she started to lose consciousness, she forced herself to stay awake & found her phone to call 911. She then climbed out of her window since the car was on its side. She used all her strength to crawl up the bank, so she could be visible from the road. All with a broken ankle, bruised & cut up body, head spinning / not able to see straight, body going into shock / panic & hyperventilating..

Thank God our friends had left 20 minutes after her & saw her on the side of the road.

By God's saving grace she only has a broken ankle, concussion, is a little cut up & bruised, & moving through some shock.

It’s been one thing after the other for her but despite all of this, ericha is smiling, laughing & keeping faith & love at the center.

Most of Ericha's income was based in her physical capabilities like childcare, thai massage, & land work. Now she is not going to be able to work for at least 4 months unless she can find remote work. Ericha is needing financial aid throughout her recovery so she can afford her basic needs & physical therapies. Along with being able to purchase another car, rent one for the time being when she's able to drive again, & compensate loved ones for taking her to appointments & running errands for her.

Being surrounded by friends & family's immediate care, has been a huge aid to her recovery so far. Also giving thanks to the nurses in the emergency room that were giving encouraging words & were filled with love & spirit.

We are calling on our community to come together to help a sister in need, knowing that many other people are also struggling during these times in different ways & especially financially.
