Help for Elora Wynne

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

Although many of you already know and love Elora, you may not yet know her story. It’s through much prayer and with great vulnerability that we invite you to take part in her journey and humbly ask for you to partner with us.

Elora was born on February 5, 2021, and although her birth was without complications, at about two months of age, we quickly began to notice delays in her development. At four months, Elora was diagnosed with Nystagmus, an ocular condition marked by rapid oscillation and no muscle control. We attributed her extreme developmental delays to this issue and began praying about what steps to take. As time continued, her struggles became more apparent. By six months old, she couldn’t sit up on her own, hold her head up, play with or grasp toys or make eye contact. As we began taking her to different specialists, it became clear that she needed an MRI in order for us to fully understand what was going on in her body and diagnose the most effective treatment. In the meantime, we had already enrolled her in occupational, physical and visual therapy and worked hard to increase her hours to weekly visits.

In April of this year, we discovered through an MRI that she had sustained a brain injury in utero, and she was officially diagnosed with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy. Although high functioning, Elora’s condition leaves her susceptible to seizures and with no expectation of living a “normal” life. Even as we have wrestled with the shock and grief of her diagnosis, we know this is not the final word for Elora!

As we began our research on how to move forward, we discovered Stem Cell therapy. This radical treatment has proven to be extremely promising for kids with CP, even providing miraculous breakthroughs in some cases. Testimonials have included children taking their first steps, speaking their first words and using muscles for the first time within hours of completing a single treatment. We have read enough positive case studies to conclude that we will do whatever it takes to help Elora benefit from this therapy.

This is where we are humbly asking for your HELP. In order to maximize her results, we need to provide as many treatments as possible before Elora’s second birthday in February. We’ve spent many hours interviewing possible treatment facilities and have found one close to home in Pasadena, as well as others that are abroad. The cost for providing two treatments before her second birthday will total between $25,000 - $30,000. Would you be willing to help us raise the money to give her these treatments? We would be beyond grateful for any help you can offer, and we are believing in a miraculous breakthrough for Elora!
