This dearest pup has just gone through TPLO surgery so she can again run around without pain. Lolo ruptured her cruciate ligament recently and is now sporting a bionic knee. It’s been a tough month visiting vets and waiting to get in to see the surgeon, but she is now ready for the long recovery ahead!
Elodie and I met six years ago when she was a scared and wild young stray from Modesto. She didn’t wag her tail for weeks, but then found her joyous self with swims in the river and ocean, walks with an amazing dog pack, and lots of love. She is now aging happily in the desert, rolling around in dirt and snow whenever possible, and loving on all of her people. She is my world and makes my life better every single day.
I am humbly asking for help with her very common yet crazy expensive surgery. I started school for social work this year and spent last year focused on my own health issues and on disability, so finances have been very limited. I know everyone has a lot going on and there is great need out there, but whatever you are willing to contribute is deeply appreciated and will make a huge difference for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you, much love!
