Help for Dumped Mixed Aussie Shepard Puppies!
Donation protected
Hello, we are residents of Bloomfield Hills subdivision and we're starting this fundraiser to help cover the expenses for these mixed-Australian Shepard puppies we found abandoned in our neighborhood and are being cared for by Delanie Del Moral, Lori & Omar Rivero, and Paul & Julie Rhoades Andersen.
On Sunday morning, April 28, 2024, our neighbors found two mixed-Australian Shepard puppies in a field in our neighborhood soaked from the strong storm the previous night and early Sunday morning.
The first puppy (male, brown & white) has fleas and roundworms and was given a bath. The second puppy (female, black & white) was covered in grass burr seeds and was taken to the vet emergency hospital after episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. The male puppy was taken to the vet on the morning of April 29th, 2024. Unfortunately, both puppies have tested positive for Canine Parvo Virus (CPV-2) and are at different stages of infection. The female puppy is still being held at the hospital while the male was able to come home to be under observation, feeding, and medication by our family. He will be taken back to the hospital for treatment if he starts vomiting.
After posting on Nextdoor looking for an owner, we have yet to find anyone claiming these puppies or looking for them. My family and other neighbors have teamed up to take care of these puppies as best we can but the expenses are high due to their complications. In just the first 24 hours, we have spent over $2,300 and the expenses continue to accumulate.
We started this fundraiser in hopes that we can get some help in covering the expenses for these puppies so we can give them the best care possible until we can find permanent homes for them. Funds that are received will go towards those who have provided financial help for the puppies. We would be so grateful for any amount of aid!
