Help For Dow Family

Michael, a senior at Bret Harte High School, was in a serious car accident early Thursday morning and was medi-flighted to a nearby hospital. He sustained several serious, life-threatening injuries, including but not limited to a traumatic brain injury & fractured vertebrae in his neck and back. He has been placed in a medically induced coma in order to keep his spine straight and avoid further injuries. As of right now his body does not tolerate being off of sedation. He will soon undergo surgery for his neck fracture. Once he is off the ventilator he will be transferred to a facility in the Bay Area for rehabilitation. How these injures will affect Michael's future health/abilities is still unknown. An intense and complicated recovery process is expected. Both Michael and his family have a long road ahead and need your love and support. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
