As I'm sure many of you know, our dear friend Donna Callahan has recently experienced a medical emergency (broken hip and femur) that required surgery and a very long recovery period, as well as additional surgery in the future (both knees).
I have known Donna since I was 17 years old. She is a wonderful, caring person with a huge and generous heart.
For those that don't know, Donna is a local Decorator/Entrepreneur by trade. She has not been able to work or walk without assistance for the last two months. She is a widow now living solely on social security, it does not cover her rent, monthly expenses, and medical bills. Donna will not be able to work and support herself until she has recovered from all surgeries, possibly months into the future. - 
My friend has never been one to ask for help from others, so I am asking for her...
As a longtime fixture and in my opinion, a treasure to this community, she has helped so many.. Her kindness and generosity are unsurpassed.
Having said all that, please, if you feel moved to help Donna through this difficult time, please do...
