Hi,

My name is Geetanjali Shukla and I am raising funds for my husband, Dharmendra Kumar Shukla who is suffering from Brain Cancer (Oligodendrocytic astrocytoma) and is undergoing treatment at King George's Medical University, Lucknow. We have a 6 years old daughter who is very bright and good in academics, and is helping take care of her dad. Our 13 years old son is the man of the house at this young age, staying up all night and is also taking care of his bed ridden father when I am at work. I work as a teacher making 5000 Indian Rupees a month that can barely feed my kids. My husband is out of work since he is sick. We have spent every penny that we had. It is a stage 4 cancer, we are hopeful and ask for your help to save my husband. We did not have means to hospitalize him or get him any treatment for 2 and a half months after the diagnosis. Recently we got some help to get his MRI done but we need more to get him the treatment and pay for his medicines. The family has done all it can to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs.500000 and much more is required to pay for all the medical expenses.
