Our beloved Denise Domino left this world and passed away on Saturday, May 1st at the age of 69. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. Denise was always the life of the party and lit up the room! She fought a hard fight recently at the hospital but was called home to god for her next journey.
She was born to Joan Cilento and David Cochran on July 8, 1951 in San Francisco. After graduating from high school, Denise chased her dreams to succeed in her thriving career at Pacific Bell Yellow Pages.
Denise cherished spending time traveling with her family, entertaining, painting, enjoying the lake, music, her cats, shopping, and adventures!
She had two loves of her life, with the first being Dennis Domino. Together, they had 2 children: Danielle and Derrek. Her kids were her whole world and she always supported their life aspirations.
In 1993, she met Walter Moertl. Denise, Walt, and the kids would travel, camp, and enjoy life to the fullest. Just the way Denise wanted it!
Her friends and family meant the world to her. Every memory was so important and believe us when we say, she shared quite a bit taking us back in time. She loved her two sisters dearly, Debbie Tregenza and Rhonda Alderman. Denise had several generations of cousins, speaking and reminiscing years of memories in North Beach with all of them often. Bonnie, Diane, Carol, Wayne-so many stories she would share with us. Barbara, Judy, Terry, Katie, Carol-She valued your friendship and love! Kathleen, she loved being your godmother and was so proud of the woman and mom you became.
Due to this unexpected loss, we are asking for help during this time of grief. The funds raised will go towards a memorial service and celebration of Denise’s life. Thank you for anything you can contribute. More information will follow.
