This past Saturday, the Hamilton family lost their beloved patriarch. Bill Hamilton was a father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. Even friends that did not know him most certainly knew OF him and saw the many silly and smiling family photos posted to social media over the years.
The two themes that really stick out about Bill were what a wonderful dad and incredibly engaged grandfather he was to Dena and Elijah. After losing his wife and Dena's mom, this little trio of Bill and Dena and Eli were extremely close. They did everything together over the years. They continued to live together as the 3 amigos and that has been all Eli has known his entire 13 years of life.
Amongst the grief of losing the leader of their pack, Dena and Eli are now confronted with financial decisions and stress over what their next chapter will look like. It is unfortunate that their immense grief is compounded with financial fear and anxiety over their immediate future. Elijah is an extremely sensitive young person and has always lived with a high degree of anxiety. He is suffering fears of homelessness and other scary feelings as they absorb this loss.
Please help to give what you can to give Dena and Eli a buffer so they can focus only on the memory and love of Bill without the creeping fear and anxiety of "what's next". Let's help them and let's show Eli that he has a strong support network of people that love this family dearly and will be there for them. The funds raised will go towards the rent and groceries in the Sunland home for the next few months. The funds will go directly to Dena Hamilton's account for the sole purpose of tying up the expenses of Bill's passing and the living expenses for the next few months.
