Help for Dawn & Mike Malone

Hello to all of Mike and Dawn Malone’s family and friends!

As you know, on December 15th Mike was in a very minor car accident and while at Urgent Care it was found that Mike had a brain tumor which was diagnosed as Glioblastoma, a relatively rare and aggressive brain tumor. This diagnosis was very unexpected as Mike had no symptoms. Mike and Dawn were living their best life; mountain biking, hiking, and traveling in their travel trailer, they always had a new adventure planned!

Those who know Mike know that he has a great sense of humor, a deep love for his friends and family and loves the great outdoors! Mike has been incredibly strong and positive through this journey, has kept a positive attitude and continues to fight with everything he has.

It's come to a point in Mike’s health journey that he’s not able to be left home alone and needs more help than Dawn is able to provide. We need to hire a home health aide to help with daily tasks and sadly, home health care is not covered by insurance and is very expensive. This is where we; their family and friends can help ease the financial burden this cancer has created. Dawn has been very reluctant to ask for help but realizes she can’t do this alone.

Mike and Dawn are amazing people that are kind and giving with a passion for life, friends and family and they need our support. Please contribute whatever you can to help them provide the additional care that Mike needs. Mike and Dawn greatly appreciate all the support that they have received and continue to receive. Mike will not give up his battle and continues to fight with everything he has!
