Help for Dani and family after house fire

My friend Dani Shoe, her mom Judi and friend Chris live in northern Georgia and suffered a devastating house fire on Dec 23. They got out with the clothes they had on - Dani grabbed their chihuahua, Loki, and Chris got Judi out. Chris and Judi didn't even have time to grab shoes. The beautiful house (pictured) and garage burned to the ground and they lost their car and everything else. Their beagle-mix Zoe (pictured) and 2 cats, Ashley and Isabella, are missing.

Those of you who are ChampCar/IndyCar media and fans may remember Dani Shoe and Michael Pina (Pina Pix) as the sweet, hilarious husband-wife photography team in the photos above. Michael passed away in 2019 after a long illness, and Dani lost him again on Saturday - his ashes were in the house.

They're in a hotel for now, trying to decompress and process their trauma. They have a lot of work ahead of them to replace IDs, deal with the aftermath of the fire, find a permanent place to live and get a car to handle all this.
