Hello Friends, Family, Arts Enthusiasts and Educators,

Meet Isabella M., an aspiring ballerina and remarkable young artist with an extraordinary gift. Her passion for dance has led this native Houstonian around the country to spend countless hours in the studios, honing her skills and perfecting her craft. She dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer, but the cost of training, costumes, and performance opportunities can be overwhelming. Ballet is a demanding and expensive art form, and we believe that talent should never be limited by financial constraints. Dance is for everyone! Join me in support of a talented African American and Cree/Metis classically trained ballet dancer.

Isabella has trained in classical ballet since she was five years old. She has had the honor of training at Houston Ballet Academy, where she learned to dance in the Royal Academy of Dance and Australian styles, and the highly technical San Francisco Ballet School. Isabella currently trains in the Vaganova style ballet at City Ballet San Francisco under the direction of Galina Alexandrova, the acclaimed former professional Bolshoi and San Francisco Ballet dancer.

Throughout Isabella’s extensive ballet training she has been accepted and invited to some of the most prestigious summer intensives including The Bolshoi N.Y., The Kirov D.C., American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Master Ballet Academy, and Westside Ballet. Additionally, Isabella has had the privilege to work with notable artistic directors, choreographers, and former dancers, who helped her expand her knowledge and perfect her technique in a variety of styles.

As many of you know, both African American and Native American female ballet dancers are still underrepresented in the world of ballet. Isabella is not only an incredibly talented dancer but also a trailblazer who can inspire future generations of dancers who look like her.
