Help for Dallas and his family!

Hello, family and friend! I’m here to raise money for a sweet sweet family of mine. Below is a little back story.

 

Dallas Tipton is 29 year old from Wetumpka AL. Him and Haley have one child together, Rhett and Dallas has a step daughter with Haley, Lillian.

 

Recently Dallas has had quite a few health issues and it’s caused him to be hospitalized for the better part of a month combined and out of work off and on for a 2 year time span.

 

2 years ago he had an episode of afib, but the cardiologist was able to cardiovert him and return to normal rhythm. Around the middle of March 2022 he went to Baptist Medical Center South out of concerns for other issues, and come to found out he was back in afib with a heart rate of 180. He ended up staying a week trying to get his heart rate under control. During that time of going back to work he was put on light duty at work which meant a big pay cut for him and his family. Well fast forward 3 weeks, he began throwing up blood. Lots of blood. He has a history of achalasia so we assumed the worse, that he had torn his esophagus, and was life flighted to UAB. There he stayed 8 days in MICU, 2 surgical procedures, and then 2 days spent in a recovery room. He’s home now with a feeding tube and an ablation scheduled for (4/26/22). He also will be having an additional surgery that’ll be needed at UAB on his esophagus so he can come off the feeding tube and hopefully return to somewhat of a “normal” life.

 

Dallas has been a first responder since he was 16 years old. He has been apart of several different volunteer fire departments. Has worked at Pintlala Fire Department for the past 5 years and Haynes Ambulance for 4 years. Dallas has spent majority of his life giving back and serving our community’s.

 

As you can imagine, Haley has tried to be with Dallas every step of the way but with her being the only steady income and them having two children to support, this all has taken a toll on them financially. We also do not know when Dallas will be able to return to work. They are incredibly thankful for those who have stepped up and helped already while Haley was with him in Birmingham, and they hate asking for help knowing we’re all facing hard times right now but they really need the help. Haley and Dallas desperately do not want to lose the things they’ve worked so hard to have. This would help with the huge amount of medical bills and family expenses.
