Help for Dalee as she Recovers
On the evening of Saturday, June 12, Dalee was out for a ride on her motorcycle near Masonville, Colorado, when she swerved to avoid a deer and wrecked. She is coherent and doing better, but has several injuries including a broken hand, clavicle, and five broken ribs. Her liver was also lacerated. She is hospitalized at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins and was in the ICU through earlier today, but has since been moved to the Progressive Care Unit.
Dalee would never ask for it, but the cost of being hospitalized will be great, even with insurance. With her recovery time yet to be fully determined, there are definitely related expenses that will be on-going. The goal is $10,000, but any donations will be tremendously appreciated.
Dalee is a high school counselor and has a teenage son. She has the biggest heart and is passionate about her son, family, friends, the work she does with kids, the outdoors and just enjoying life. Beyond your donations, any positive energy, good vibes and prayers to help Dalee get back on her feet and return to doing all that she loves are, without a doubt, welcome beyond measure.
